Ayesha Nawab, DMD, MD, FACS
Dr. Nawab obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Harvard University in 2001. She then trained at the University of Connecticut, where she received her Medical Degree and specialty certificates in General Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Before moving to Maryland, she was Associate Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas in Houston, TX.
Dr. Nawab is Board Certified and a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Maryland Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She is also a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Although Dr. Nawab practices a broad spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgery, she holds particular interest in third molar surgery, implants, bone grafting and oral pathology. Dr. Nawab is on staff at Frederick Health Hospital and also serves as an Anesthesia Examiner for the State of Maryland Board of Dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. Nawab and her husband like to travel, swim and play with their children.
